  • Successfully defended a Fixed Based Operator (“FBO”) against claims that it caused Plaintiff’s aircraft to be damaged.
  • Represented an FBO in successfully preventing the sale of property owned by the U.S. Army adjacent to airport that would have caused the FBO to lose its access to the water supply and sewer lined serving the FBO.
  • Recovered in excess of $6 Million for insurers in subrogation actions against a helicopter manufacturer and its component part suppliers when design and manufacturing defects caused multiple accidents around the world.
  • Defended multi-district and complex multi-jurisdictional litigation arising from aviation accidents, including representing a helicopter sightseeing operator in the 2009 Hudson River midair collision litigation.
  • Represented a trucking company and insurer in obtaining a favorable settlement in a wrongful death action arising out of an accident where an independent contractor was killed while unloading cargo pallets at Bradley International Airport.
