“Airport Revenue Diversion” sounds ominous. Sometimes it is. More often than not however, as with many things in life, the devil is in the details. Airports represent a hybrid of public and private interests, where both airports and FBOs have an equal stake in the success or failure of the airport. Therefore, both parties benefit from quickly resolving revenue diversion disputes as their interests are aligned. Being informed about what constitutes revenue diversion and what does not is the best way to avoid or minimize disputes at the outset.
